We Don't Want Anything Until We Win from Jonathan Jeweler on Vimeo

'We don't want anything until we win' was a Japanese rallying cry during WWII. This piece is an experimental animation created by taking old hand painted cels from 1990's and 80's Japanese animation and re-animating them using a stop-motion technique. Additional art was created for movements of the mouth, eyes, and for visual effects. Featuring guest voice actor, Japanese musician Yoshitake Expe.
